FAQ - PRE- BOOKING

“Where are your based and do you travel?.”
— I am always traveling, but located in Colliers, WV. I am 40 minutes from Pittsburgh ,PA and 35 minutes from Wheeling, WV.
“How many pictures will my proofing gallery have?”
— My proofing galleries typically yield 30-60 images from each session, sometimes more. The goal is to provide you with a collection of curated images and enough variety so you can choose what you love.
“How do I contact you?.”
— I'll be honest, the EASIEST way to get a response from me is via e-mail. I own a telephone and I know how to text, but often times, my cell phone is either being held captive by a child in my home, on do no disturb so I can get editing done, or dead somewhere in a couch cushion. My emails come straight to my laptop and I'm able to respond with everything you may need directly from there.
“How are locations chosen?”
— During booking, i will ask you questions pertaining to the style you're looking for. Based on the answers you give me this will determine the location we will use. I have several different locations based on my clients needs,, the lighting and shoot time. If you have a specific spot or location I am all for it!
“I want to book, Whats next?”
— A typical booking will go something like this. You inquire, we check to make sure I'm a good fit for you, your budget and style. We're a match! *All the heart eyes* Once we determine a date, I'll ask you for basics (name, phone number and e-mail) and send over a booking email that contains a contract, invoice and questionnaire). Once I get those 3 items back you are booked and ready to go. To book your session, 50% is due at booking, with the remaining balance due 7 days before your scheduled session. I do offer payment plans, just let me know when we're looking at dates.
“Wait? Why should I hire you?”
— Well, because I'm amazing! lol, but really, I want you to book me because you feel like Im the best choice. If you need to know more about me,, my style, what caffeine addiction.... you ask away and I will deliver.

FAQ - PRIOR TO YOUR SESSION

“What happens after booking?”
— Unless you need help from me, I'll leave you alone until a week before our session together. You'll get an auto reminder of your session coming up with any remaining balance due and another email a few days (usually Thursday) prior to your session with final session details. (Final, time, location, tips, etc)
“What if the weather is bad?”
— Cloudy skies are the best! However, rain close to your session time is typically a no go. I want you guys to enjoy your time with me and avoid any dangerous conditions. As long as it's possible on your timeline, we can almost always reschedule a session due to weather.
“Can you help me? I can’t match outfits or don’t know what I should wear.”
— First, please stay true to yourself. I want you feeling confident and beautiful during your session. While I will always help by giving color / clothing suggestions, my ultimate goal is to make sure I capture you as you feel best. I typically like to offer up more subtle neutral colors, but just tell me what look you're going for as I'll help as a I can!

FAQ - DURING YOUR SESSION

“When should we arrive at the location?”
— Unless you have small children that need to be changed when you get on site, arriving a few minute early will be fine. We'll chat for a minute once we start to help me connect with your family and determine the best approach when photographing your family or you guys as a couple.
“What if my kids are acting up/crazy or just being kids?”
— Wait, all kids don't act crazy? I kid, I kid. Most kids will act a little differently. I mean, they're doing something out of the norm. I tend to go with the natural flow and keep them, engaged, which is how I tend to get a lot of those great in-the-moment shots. Filling out the questionnaire with info about what they like helps a bunch when planning!
“Did you get anything at all for this session?”
— Yes! I won't end a session on a bad note. I get asked this a lot because people are so nervous that they didnt get anything good. In fact, when people ask me that, I usually have SO many good ones. I think it's human nature to be nervous. I won't lie to you and say we did if we didn't. That wouldn't do me any good. ;)

FAQ- AFTER YOUR SESSION

“What’s next?.”
— I usually post a little sneak peek on my business facebook and/or business Instagram. I get impatient when I get my pictures taken, so I love giving my clients a sneak peek!
“When do I get my proofing gallery?”
— Proofing galleries (which is me editing the best images of your session and creating a proofing gallery for you to view and make your selections from) are typically delivered via e-mail within 4-8 weeks of your session date. I know it seems like a long time but I want to make sure I dedicate enough time to your session and fine tune your images, as well as other galleries that I am juggling at the same time.
“What can I order from my gallery?.”
— Your session comes with digital images. The number depends on which collection you chose. Additional images are available for purchase for $20 per high resolution digital image.
“How do I get the digital images I selected?”
— You will get an email confirming your order / selection and then it will come to me. I will fulfill your digital order manually on my side and e-mail you the download link. (Normally within 24 hours of finalizing your gallery)
